Summer Camp Scholarships

The Riverside Center for the Performing Arts Summer Theater Camp provides ten days of musical theatre training at no cost to many campers, with meals provided in addition to acting, voice, and dance instruction. Documentation is required in order to receive scholarships based on financial need.

Examples of documents which verify need include:

Stafford Junction (indicate that your child is a member and RCPA staff will verify)
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program - SNAP
Women, Infants and Children - WIC
Summer Food Assistance Program - SFSP
Temporary Assistance for Needy Families - TANF
National School Lunch Program - NSLP

The Riverside Center for the Performing Arts will need to verify that your family or child is enrolled in one or more of these programs. You may scan and attach such documentation in reply to the confirmation email sent to camp families (if your child is a member of Stafford Junction please type that in and our staff will verify) or bring documentation to Riverside Center for the Performing Arts before April 15, 2024.

Please note that all information will be kept private and will not be shared with anyone outside of the organization.

The Riverside Center for the Performing Arts reserves the right to modify curriculum, instructors, and other aspects of camp as necessary.

Rules and Regulations

As this child’s parent or guardian, I confirm that I have read and agree to The Riverside Center for the Performing Arts Summer Camp rules and regulations. I am aware they may be updated. All updates will be posted on RCPA website.

Liability

Riverside Center for the Performing Arts is not liable for any accident or injury sustained before, during, or after participation in any Theater Camp Program.

Photo Release

I hereby give permission to use my child’s photo in Riverside Center for the Performing Arts' promotional materials.

Transportation

Campers must be dropped off and picked up in a timely manner for summer camp participation. Failure to arrive on time to Riverside Center or failure to be picked up by a designated parent/guardian or another approved person may result in campers being unable to continue participating. Only those persons with permission from parents/guardians may pick campers up. Transportation is the responsibility of the parent/guardian, unless arrangements have been made prior to camp with a sponsoring agency.

Attendance

This camp is only a short ten days, so we ask that campers be present every day, unless an unexpected illness or other emergency arises. The last day of camp is our performance, and attendance by all campers is required. If a camper cannot attend the showcase (held on the last Friday afternoon of camp), the camper will not be admitted.
