Riverside Center is definitely “user friendly” for our patrons with disabilities.
For persons in wheelchairs, there are no steps between the drive-up portico at the front door and the main-floor tables (“orchestra” seating) in the theater. We have wide aisles that make these tables easily accessible for wheelchairs.
For the hearing impaired, we offer personal hearing-assistance receivers—at no charge—that amplify the music and sound from the stage. We do not provide an interpreter.
For those with allergies or other breathing difficulties, our entire facility is “non-smoking.” We sometimes utilize a fog-producing machine to create a special “haze effect” on stage, but the water-based fog will not adversely affect those seated nearby.
When making your reservation, please inform the Box Office customer service associate that someone in your party has a disability. Our facility is 100% non-smoking at all times. However, for the convenience of patrons who wish to smoke, a small smoking area is provided near the main entrance.
